Smylie One was out for our furnace tune up & safety inspection. The technician arrived on time, introduced himself & told me everything that was involved in the inspection. He was courteous, neat and answered all of my questions. When I asked for any specials or discounts, he offered the website information. I would definitely recommend Smylie One to friends and family for all Heating, Cooling or Plumbing needs.

Wow! My air conditioner broke and they came out right away to look at it. It needed to be replaced and they gave me choices and prices within hours. They installed and cleaned up perfectly. What a pleasure to do business with them. I didn’t have to chase them down to give them my business, like I do with so many other companies. They truly appreciate your business. Days later I got a hand written thank you note. Very impressed highly recommend!

I'm a landlord overseeing about 25 homes split between Bedford and the West side of Cleveland. I'm going to keep using Smylie for all my plumbing and HVAC on all my units and on my personal home. Their prices are fair, their availability is great, they're extremely helpful. They've worked with my home warranty company, which not all contractors want to do. They'll also be honest about whether something is a big or small repair, no trying to upsell you, and are open to coming back to take another look if you're not happy with the work. I'm really glad I've found such a dependable company.

As the owner of an older home I understand that touching any one item in the house is going to cause another one to need attention. Thank goodness for SmylieOne. My water main is replaced so I am no longer buying water to send right back out my sump pump to the sewer....which now also works properly.....my 100+ year old kitchen now boasts an amazing garbage disposal, and thanks to brilliant design the bedrooms that formerly were hot in summer and cold in winter are now fully climatized. Best of all, the jobs were done correctly, ahead of schedule and my property was left cleaner at the end than it was at the beginning! My job was actually visited and supervised personally by a member of th Smylie family to ensure quality and satisfaction!

Have used them twice in the last few months. They were straight with me about my water heater needing a part (under warranty), not replacement. Then I did need a new furnace: they were very clear about what was included (right down to the chimney cap) and I had heat by the end of the day. True professionals!

I would recommend Smylie One to anybody! Joseph was the first to come out to our home, he was wonderful! He explained everything to us, explained pricing, our options, and recommended what was best. He was so knowledgeable that I walked away with a complete understanding of how air and heat work! Everything explained throughout the whole process was clear and concise, not only from Joesph, but also the men that installed our unit. The price was fabulous in comparison to other estimates, and the customer service far exceeded expectations. The installers were clean, courteous and also knowledgeable. They explained in detail how our new thermostat worked, and explained what they would be doing when they got to my house. Steve Smylie and his entire team are pan ultimate professionals and they always provide trustworthy and incredible service. In my work, it is important to pay great attention to detail (I am a physician) and Steve and his team have been incredibly wonderful to me as they respectfully check out any detail of possible malfunction with various systems, whenever I have a concern. I am fortunate to have had their teams contracted by me for decades and recently I had some major upgrades to my home with furnace, air conditioning and tankless hot water system. Steve personally recommended various products to me and I LOVE ALL of the devices he recommended!! They have been white knights in shining armor any time I have had a real or imagined glitch with any equipment!!! Steve Smylie is a gem of a man. His word is his bond. i wish i could say good things about this place. BUT, you have an employee with a temper and who likes to use his coworkers as a tool in the hopes of threatening people, but he did it to the wrong one this time.... Inform Mr. Nutter that using your employees as a tool to "threaten" people is very foolish on his part and would create an unsafe atmosphere for employees that have nothing to do with his foolishness, and would only bring issues to your place of business. I know i wouldn't want anyone coming to my place of business with nonsense. Hopefully you can correct his wayward ways.

5 stars for Smylie one! On the hottest day of the year my AC stopped working and when I called Smylie One a technician was sent out within a few hours (I thought I would have to wait several hours if not days), and got my AC up and running!! So thankful to Steve Smylie and his team!!

We are in the process of buying a house. The Air conditioner was noted to be faulty on general inspection. There was rust over the furnace, concerning about an ongoing or past leakage. Also the AC was running intermittently. The recommendation was to consult a qualified contractor. We made a big mistake by hiring Smylie One to inspect the HVAC system. Their technician who inspected the house said the control board was faulty (cost to replace - $671). Also, he mentioned that the H/E collector box was cracked (cost to replace- $1228). Thus overall cost to correct these problems would be $1900. Based on their evaluation, we asked seller to pay for repairs. The seller had the HVAC inspected by his own contractor, who said both the control board and H/E collector box were fine and did not need to be replaced. Meanwhile, the seller still offered us $2000 to use for repairs if any needed which we accepted and signed the contract. The next day though, a supervisor from Smylie One went to inspect the HVAC again, and he completely disagreed with his own techinician's evaluation. He now said that the AC coil and the drain pan are rusted and actively leaking and he would recommend the AC to be replaced based on the age and condition of the AC. Based on the initial evaluation from their technician, we decided to take the $2000 for AC repairs. If we had known about the condition of the AC which came out in the second report (which completely contradicted with their own technician's initial report), we would have asked the seller to replace the AC. Instead, now we have a complete contract and I need to bear the expenses to replace the AC before I move into the house, just because of the incompetence of Smylie One's technicians. Knowing my distress and dissatisfaction from their work, Steve Smylie, the owner of the company called me, tried to make it sound like it wasn't their mistake and he tried to make a "deal" with me by providing me, what he made it sound like, a very good deal. He would install a basic Bryant AC for $4000, which he said was $2000 below their usual price. Meanwhile, I contacted another HVAC agency who quoted me a straight price of $4000 for a new more expensive American Standard AC (without any sort of special deals) All in all, I am extremely dissatisfied with Smylie One's service. I think their technician was extremely incompetent and failed to detect and report a simple leak from the AC coils (Even me, not an HVAC expert, could see the rust outside the HVAC unit and suspected a leak, but was then misled by the findings of their technician "Mikhail Aronov") Secondly, they charge extravagant amounts for their services, evident by the fact that they would charge $2000 more than other contractors for installing an AC with lower retail price.

The technician was prompt and friendly. He explained everything to me. Before placing the new unit outside, he used a shovel and bagged all the leaves and stuff that had accumulated. I had my Carrier Infinity furnace serviced today by Eric to repair the blower which had stopped working. What a great experience! Even though you never want something to breakdown, Smylie One demonstrated exceptional professionalism. Most importantly, it was repaired correctly the first time at a fair price. I know I made the right choice by contacting Smylie One, even though they were not the original installers of the equipment. Smylie One is my choice die any future repairs to my homes mechanical systems.
